Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve never visited K2H before, are you easy to find?
Very easy! Sandbach is a lovely Cheshire market town, just a gentle swerve off the M6, and you’ll find us a few steps away from the large Waitrose, which is pretty hard to miss. The closest long-stay car park is Brookhouse Road, less than a minute’s walk away.

Where’s the Chicken Tikka Masala?!
Ha, ha! We know our menu looks a little different to the average Indian restaurant — and that’s intentional. We’re passionate about sharing the flavours and traditions we grew up with in India: time-honoured recipes, cooked with care. But don’t be put off if you don’t recognise some dishes.
Chicken Tikka Masala is a much-loved British creation, but not a traditional Indian dish. Instead, we serve Murgh Tikka Lababdar — think of it as an authentic cousin to the curry that you know. If any dish name is unfamiliar, please ask. We’re always happy to talk you through the menu, and we love it when a guest discovers a new favourite.

Do you cater for dietary needs?
Yes — many of our dishes are naturally vegan or gluten-free, and we’ll always do our best to adapt where we can. If you have a food allergy or a specific dietary concern, please let us know before ordering so we can take extra care.
Do I need to book?
We always recommend it, especially in the evenings or at weekends, when we’re often busy. Booking is essential for Afternoon Tea and Bottomless Brunch. Otherwise, walk-ins are welcome too — and if we can fit you in, we absolutely will.
Do you cater for private parties?
We have a beautiful events space above as well as options for outside catering to bring the flavour of K2H to you. Check out our Events Page for more info and drop us a line so we can discuss your event requirements.
Who is the team behind K2H?
Owner, Nagendra Kumar-Prasad, is the man at the heart and helm of K2H Creative Indian Kitchen. Having grown up just outside Delhi, he’s passionate about sharing the authentic flavours and time-honoured cooking traditions of his childhood, adding a refined sensibility honed during his career in five-star hotels in India and beyond. He is supported by General Manger, Raju Mukherjee, a dedicated team of specialist chefs and a passionate front-of-house team.
